Affiliate marketing is simply a Program whereby you (an Affiliate) help make sales for a company (Amazon, Konga e.t.c) for a percentage % commission. The percentage varies on product type and making more money would be Dependent on some other factors and price of product Being Number one.
The First Affiliate program I tried was KONGA and I made Few sales for a start through my BBM Group, Facebook page and other social media Accounts. But I stopped using them because of their low percentage pay and payment threshold of N10,000.
Just yesterday, I found an Affiliate program that pays in three different ways.
- You Earn N500 per sign up
- You Earn N300 per Referral sign up and Approval
- You Earn N700 per sale
Let’s do the math, just 10 sales on any product would bring about N7,000 which would be paid Directly to your Bank Account through wire Transfer.
How Can You make more sales? Just like I mentioned above, I used a BBM Group, Fb page and other social accounts including Whatsapp to make my First Konga affiliate Earning. So you can do the same, Facebook ads would also play a vital role also.
What is the Payment Threshold/Limit? On the Affiliate homepage, it was stated that payment threshold was 10,000 but through a Blog post by Jide Ogunsanya on Ogbongeblog.com, we found out the limit was dropped to N3,000. Isn’t that Great?
What about Blogs and Website Owners? Using those Unique tracked banners from your Affiliate Dashboard, any purchase made through clicks on Banners on your website/Blog would as well be added to your Earnings.
